Here is a quick update on the blower build.

He has focused a lot on chassis and parts around the chassie during spring/summer. But he has in parallell bought parts to prepare for the blower setup.

First of all he ordered a blower intake for Weiand 144 from Aussiespeed and had it delivered all the way to north Europe. Shipping worked like a charm! And after some search he found a complete and refurbished 4-71 including a snout. The snout was included and he is not sure about lenght yet.

I have now fabricated an adapter plate for the blower and the next step will be to do a mockup mount in order to check snout length and prepare for fabrication of belt tensioner and the crank hub. His plan is not to use a damper since the blower belt should take care of harmonic balancing. ...this is at least valid for e.g. smal block Chevys...

He has done som planning for the upcoming engine work, but one thing is missing: He will need to race prep the head. Porting work, larger (and longer? valve) to suit a bigger cam. So; if anybody has a race prepped head (complete or empty) and is willing to sell it, please contact me. I have a shipping partner in Florida, so international shipping is not required from USA.

I include a couple of photos on the adapter plate. It is made from 15 mm (5/8") alu, 6061 or equivalent.
