Hey all, what year A body is the Large Bolt Pattern 7 1/4 rear found in? What other year/body cars do I find it in that will work in an 68 a body?
Thanks!

'73-up all A-bodies with front discs, plus some '74-up A-bodies with 4-wheel drums. On a drum brake car, measure to make sure.

Also be aware of the rear axle ratio and its effect on your car's performance (and your speedometer!).

Not always! The "birthday cake" 10-inch drums were SBP at least through '74, and I've seen 'em on '75s, too.

take your tape measure with you is the best advise. I personally have never seen 10" brakes with SBP but I havent seen it all yet.

Definitely true.

Assume you mean you've never seen 10" SBP brakes on a post-'72 car. 10" drums were first available on A-bodies in late '64, and they were all SBP until '72. It's in '73 that LBP brakes started appearing on A-bodies.

I stand corrected.
Yes I did mean 73 and up 10" drums ( I have 10" SBP on the rear of my car now on the 8 3/4)
