Best one out there is a Standard Ign "Blue Streak". Should be available at local parts stores (NOT Pep Boys). If you have trouble, go to Allied Auto Supply on E. Colorado in Pasadena. They can set you up with that, or a similar quality part if you ask for the good stuff.

I miss those guys...

Lou

I second the Standard-BlueStreak CH-410X recommendation.

Ordinarily I also like NAPA's Echlin ignition parts, but a lot of their MO-4/MO-40/MO-4000 caps seem to be ground off-centre, which can make real problems.

I do like to use the NAPA Echlin long-tip rotor # MO-3000, which is 0.060" longer than ordinary rotors, with high-performance ignition systems.

Accel is overpriced. I thought you wanted your parts cheap.

Accel is just Echlin's performance brand. The caps in the Accel box are just as off-centre as the ones in the Echlin box.

I've been using mexican made bendix caps. cheap, black, nicely centered, great contacts, perfect fit. If I recall correctly was something neafr 7 bux each. li'l bit slimer wich is great for the tight clearance I have for my big hands around the oil filter.
