hEY man

If you register and do a search, you'll find plenty of good posts on front and rear swaybar installation, original, firmfeel, etc etc etc.

Plus if you register we all can get to know you a little and call you by name (or names,) And follow up on you and your car's history.

Take care.
Juan

I can answer the last one for sure: You should leave the ballast resistor in.

For the first question, try to position the brackets as far apart as possible, and drill holes accordingly. I don't have a PST bar, but I have put an Addco bar on my '66, which originally had no sway bars.

well the kit says to bolt it through the holes on the k-frame, theres two on each side, and the outer one dosnt fit, and yes the main bracket is only attacked to the frame by one bolt. the piccture shows to just bolt the plate and the bracket together on the other end. im thinkkin of just makin my own hols, but the only place to do so makes it an extreme scrape hazard.

i had a 1 1/8" PST bar on my '70 and i'm thinking addco made it and PST just drop ships all their stuff, which explains the higher cost. the mounts that come with those bars suck. mine used to scrape whever i hit a dip in the road or a speedbump (although my car was lowered about an inch.) the holes in the k-frame may need to be drilled out since there may be some welding spatter built up making the holes irregular. i think i saw pics on this site or over at /6.com showing a more "custom" mount for one of those bars. looked like it tucked up quite nicely.
