bought the spring kit and changed the black spring to a white spring, may be too light but will find out on the initial run! Would rather learn on my own anyways  !

Thanks TF

I have found the yellow one to work best in my 465 Holley.

Besides the spring, you can tune the secondaries with kill bleed sizes.
Although the spring and kill bleed affect each other, basically, the springs control opening rate of the secondaries and the bleed controlls the RPM when opening starts.
So, if the opening rate is OK and you need for them to kick in at a lower RPM, reduce the bleed hole size.

Thanks for the advise,I'll be running it this weekend and see if the engine wants something different. I have already jetted it down close to what it should be hopefully this will save some head scratching. I am going to try to get the secondarys to open around 2800 rpm but may have to change that depending on how it runs. Thanks again for the help as this will be a trial and error effort!

Fired it up today and ran it around the block and was quite suprized with the power difference from the 1 bbl. It has a small bog at about 2000 rpm but at wide open throttle on a gentle curve in second gear at 3200 rpm the rearend tryed to swap with the front! I got out of it and saved it before i backed into someones yard, but what the h#** this is a slant six  ! looks like this will be more fun than i had anticipated  . Some minor tunning should have it running very well thanks for the help again it has saved me allot of time!
