I had to drop the steering column in order to disconnect the speedo cable until I can get the speedometer rebuilt. After i put back together the car will sometimes not start in park. (about 50%) It does start in neutral but i like things to work correctly. ANy ideas on what i need to adjust/check in order to fix?

Gearshift linkage. Check bushings and replace as necessary, then adjust per service manual. The Neutral Safety Switch isn't being properly engaged when in Park.

my car used to do that ater i messed wit colum. to get it to start i would hafta push up pretty hard on the colum shifter, this would rotate the colum a bit to enageg the neutral safty. did that until i loosend colum and retightend it.
