I need to purchase all the manifold studs, but none of the parts people have them listed by motor, so I'm curious what the size and threading is, if anyone knows, thanks, Mark I'm guessing ARP probably makes them.??

They are 5/16 x 1 3/4 with 1/2" threaded on each end; fine threads on one end and coarse on the other. Someone will probably chime in with a part number.

Darn it. We talked about it at the Garlits show. That was one of the reasons you stopped at my place, and I forgot. You don't need ARP bolts, just get them at a local nut and bolt store. Just don't get cheap grade 5 studs.

Dorman brand makes what you need, don't have the part# handy but a GOOD parts guy can look it up by application.

I was able to score some at the local O'Reilly. Sorry no part number, but it wasn't too hard. If you have one to show them it can help.

Best of luck,
Joe

The ones we got at O'Reilly were a tad long on the manifold side. They worked fine!

Those will probably work, but the dimensions are different from the ones I removed from my head.

the one I have is 1 3/4" long with 5/8" of fine thread, 5/8" unthreaded shoulder and 1/2" of course threads.

The ones that are a little longer on the manifold side work fine. Just did it on "Ruby" the '80 model van.
