I am going to go help one of our newer members here to degree in his stock cam in a daily driver. The intake centerline is 106. Should I advance a stock cam for him to get the best performance he can? 4 degrees? I believe this is a bone stock engine.

Rick

For a stock cam, I would run it at 101-104. Try to get the '71-up higher lift version.

Cam was already in the car, and it was at 110 degrees, plus the timing Mark was off by 3 or 4 more degrees. So I got his damper marked correctly and adjusted it to 102 degrees.

thanks.
