anyone know if these drums will fit an A 8.75

http://www.rockauto.com/catalog/moreinf ... cc=1494750

the inner drum size of 10 inches looks right

here are some photos of what the drums look like on the 8.75 that I picked up a few years ago, the flare where the drum fits over the backing plate is different?

I'll get the ID of the drums measured, but they look like the have been cut pretty thin. That is why I am looking for replacements.
along that, is the .090 over sized the correct limit as shown on the RA listing?

That is a front drum. Won't work.

Charrlie, I trust your info but the RA part listing says:

CENTRIC Part # 12363007 C-TEK Standard Brake Drum-Preferred; Does Not Include Wheel Bearings
Front; Front Drum brakes; Rear Drum brakes; 10" Drum

any ideas on another source?

That listing means "Front" with front drum brakes, and 10 inch rear drum brakes. You can tell the drums are wrong for the rear, as the rear drums should be 10 inch by 1 3/4 wide.

As for locating them, just have to keep searching. They are hard to find. I think I got the last 2 rockauto had, last spring, when I built the rear for my Valiant. They do show up on e-bay from time to time, but are usually over $100 ea.

Which brakes are you going to use John? SBP or LBP?

That will depend on if you redrill SBP axles or have LBP axles made for B/E body brakes. B/E body 10" brakes are 2-1/2" wide and use a different end spacing from the wheel bearing to flange.
