Welcome,

I'm not a mod here, but I know the standard answer.

There is scads of good info on this site and is well organized

But it is up to we the users to research the site before asking what is on the site

yes there are lots of cool ways to make the slant perform very nicely

we have guys here that have done about everything imaginable to them. And they are very friendly and always willing to help.

A lot of them drag race their cars in annual seasonal events on both coasts

What car are you building?

I'm sure we'd all like to know.

I just built a nice slant on info I got here

Good luck and happy slanting,, Ray

Hi eastvan54.
Doug 'Doc' Dutra must be a very modest man, or maybe he simply forgot to add some links to some of the best rebuild information avavilable, containing lots of big and small tips and tricks for the engine build process in general. Go to the Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) in the engine section. There you'll find some of the good doctor's prescriptions in the form of Best of Doctor Dodge, which describe in great detail some of his engine builds. Your engine will live a happy life after you adapt Doc's advice during the rebuild process. :D
I would also recommend to take a look at the Tech Articles, lots of background info worth reading before a rebuild.

Olaf
