I have a 1983 Dodge Van Slant 6 needing a crank. Any leads out there?

What part of the country? That may help figure out if one of us can help ya. There was a guy in Indiana who had an ad here that has a couple of engines he "has to" get rid of....
Can your crank be machines for undersized bearings?
Another idea is the parts stores used to sell a "crank kit" which was a remachined crank and included bearings to match the degree of machine work.

I'm pretty sure all my cranks are forged, but I've read you can fit those in a later block. Where are you located? I might have something for ya.

Nope. No forged crank in a block meant for a cast one.

Yeah, I'm learning that. haha! You could try car-part.com and see if you can get lucky and find a wrecking yard that has one. It's worth looking, you never know.

Autozone used to offer a crank and bearing kit, as did most parts houses.
