Sorry we did not get to your earler post, thing have been busy....
The Sl6 engine was a red / orange color through 1967, in 1968 it change to "Mopar Blue"
The intake manifold and valve cover was also the engine color. The factory did not paint the exhaust manifold or exhaust pipes.
The transmission bellhousing was "mostly" painted the engine color, the transmission, suspension parts and rearend were not painted, these items would rust and / or get greasy.
Muffler was also a naturual metal color and the torsion were "dip painted" a semi glossy black.
