Cool steelies. What are they from? Did you need a spacer in the back? I really wish I could find a rear axle 2" wider than stock so I won't have to use spacers with my wheels.

The wheels came from a chrysler 300. I had to run a 7/16 spacer in the back to clear the leaf springs. I'll grab some better pictures when i get home.

I hope you are going to tell us you only install those wheels for show and don't actually drive on them. Spacers are very, very dangerous.

I agree spacers are dangerious. Exspecialy ones you see on ebay, summit racing and jegs, with a non-hubcentric, universal, sloppy fit. I had a one off set of spacers milled by a buddy, that are hubcentric for a perfect fit. I also install longer studs and retorque my wheels often. And dan the spacers are only a temporary thing I plan on adding the lenght needed while doing an axle swap. Im taking the car off the road for the fall and winter in about a week after i finish moving. Axle, transmission and engine swap are starting in the fall. A very cleanly installed sterio system is in the process at the moment

Best idea I've heard is the 205/60-15s on your 15X5.5s. You will see nice handling gains and mileage will not suffer and may get better.

I bought from US Wheel the "series 26 chrome blade", 15x7" wheels (bolt circle 5x4.5).
Part #26-5712, backspace 3.75" for the back,
and part #26-5712P, backspace 4.5" for the front,
so that the axlewidth would be a bit more equal.
They weigh a bit but I'm satisfied. Put 215/65-15 tires all-around.

Lou this is what I am leaning towards. just got a set of dog dish caps that would look great on the black steelies.
