Tom can answer the PV issue. I have my PV blocked and run off of jet alone. The rear port on the carb is for the pcv.

Generally the plate that bolts to the intake plenum can be turned 90* for carb location. I could be wrong though, never had a Clifford shorty intake.

I'm still running a PV. The PV is boost referenced to the same place as the fuel pressure regulator.

I had to drill the carb main body to pressurize the port behind the PV and modify the PV to work in a reverse manner. This richened up the part throttle on the car from very very lean to good.

Above is a pic of what I did to the PV to make it "referenced".

I had to had fab that bracket. You also have to remove the brass fitting and spring from the pv as well. To do this, heat the brass "nut" while the rest of the pv is submersed in water. You will then be able to remove the nut and invert it (with thread locker) for the intended purpose.

You will also need to get some nytriphil (sp) floats as well. The primary float will have to be modded to work with the extra space the BRPV parts take up.

Did u do the nickel brpv or just flip the retainer over what did u use for the bracket and the tip to hold the spring in place also if I boost ref the pv cavity via the base plate will that work for this mod?
Shaker I'm going through the hanger mod for the carb now just to make sure it was done properly and I ordered some floats and a pv plug for the secondary also the rear acc. pump dia. Was bad and the pv didn't have a spring so I decided to just go through the carb before I even start the tuning process I plan on taking notes and writing down everything for future ref
Thanks for the thousandth time
Aaron

I flipped the retianer over and used an old pv and scavenged parts from it to make a holder. The retainer is held in place by a screw. It is a common thread. You can adjust when the PV opens by using different springs...have to play with that. It is actually pretty simple.

With aussiespeed large port gasket, you had the head, exhaust ported to the gasket size, what about the intake?

Yes I did a rough port match of the intake along with the exhaust manifold

Badass man I love homemade headers thats what I get the most oogles about at car shows. I had a guy ask me tonight " Thas one of those skyline engines isn't in your duster!?" I said nope just a good ol slant six :)

What starter is that it looks small I that would help me mine is right against the downpipe.
