This runs most of the time between 10 and 20 % from full power. I keep it at 10% minimum for engine compartent air refreshing all the time the engine temperature has raised to normal operating.

This fan was an accessory and probably made in Italy.

lgu32, that setup looks great - you have a lot more clearance between the pulley and radiator than I do, however. What radiator is that?

It is Griffin. I have not had any problems with it. But I have heard they all are not sealed well.

As the radiator is thick there was no option use either mechanical fan or electic fan at the engine side. So I installed that big fan front of the radiator. As it is as wide and tall as the radiator no "tunnel" was needed.

I have Maxxecu engine management controlling the fan speed. There is just a single column with degrees and pwm and it adjust the coolant temperature even better than the thermostat. It could be even better if a vehicle speed will be added as a parameter. I have not tested that yet.

OK, I'm looking at this with the radiator out. Unfortunately I have too much in the way up front for that option.

You can cut out a bit from the front apron / support area for more rad or cooler clearance.

Rhat's what I did on my '64.
I will illustrate this a bit for you when I have some time.

I quess Matt have an intercooler there. This fan fit to -66 without any cuttings. The tube frame around the fan is for the radiator mounting only.
